"To God be the glory great things He has done..." are the opening to one of the great hymns of the faith. It also expresses our praise for what God is doing at White Oak. A couple of months ago the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, opened the windows of heaven and poured out a blessing on our church. There was nothing pre-arranged...there was nothing co-erced...there was nothing done except constant prayer for God to move among His people. For a small church, God did a BIG thing...5 people came in 1 service to profess Jesus Christ as their Savior & Lord; 3 people came to unite with our fellowship; 4 came to publicly re-dedicate their lives to serving. The following Sunday, after the observance of The Lords Supper, a young man asked his grandmother how he could be saved, and he professed his faith AFTER the service concluded. The following Sunday another family came into our fellowship.

This is an example of how the Holy Spirit will work in a church when their is sacrificial prayer...giving...and serving taking place. You see, He is faithful to the extent that we are faithful to Him. He tells us that He will never leave or forsake us, and that all He desires is our faithfulness to Him.

Let's just Praise the Lord!

"The will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you!"
